Vehicle modifications are so much more than a loud exhaust or a set of wheels. Think about it, AMG, M, Prodrive, Cosworth, Shelby, Abarth, Nismo are all just a few examples of brands that have so successfully ‘modified’ cars they have between them produced many of the most iconic motor vehicles of our age.
Sadly, Halfords in the naughties and the swarms of pop and bang fiestas and DSG farting de-catted S3’s have not done much for the public image of modifying cars over the last couple of decades. But that isn’t what modifying cars is. Well, it is, but it’s a tiny and extreme inappreciable aspect of what it should be.
Modifying cars, for any reason, is a practice car enthusiasts have carried out for as long as cars have existed. You could argue that cars only really exist because people won’t stop fettling with their chosen means of transport. Whether your name is Bob or Ferrari, making your car look and go like your car really is what our global subculture is all about.
In this spirit, Motorsport and Performance continue the tradition – we don’t modify cars for the sake of some fad. For us, it truly is about enhancing a vehicle for performance and personality.

Tuning and Dyno Services
Modifying a vehicle properly involves more than adding performance parts – tuning and dyno services are crucial for optimising performance by adjusting fuel timing, air-to-fuel ratios, ignition timing and more. At Motorsport and Performance, we use the data we generate from dyno runs to tune vehicles precisely, recognising that each vehicle we work on, and each client we work with, are unique, ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.
Powertrain
Powertrain modifications include high-performance air filters, exhaust systems, turbocharging and supercharging. These modifications enhance a vehicle’s engine, transmission and drivetrain to improve power and responsiveness. Transmission modifications can be as simple as adding a short shifter, to adding stronger clutches and upgraded gearboxes. At Motorsport and Performance, we apply our expertise to transform vehicles into the power houses they are cablable of being.
Chassis
Chassis tuning involves upgrading a vehicle’s suspension, steering and brakes, as well as reinforcing the chassis itself. These modifications improve stability, cornering and reduce body roll. Depending on your personal preferences and how you use your vehicle, you can opt for modifications such as coilovers, bigger brake calipers and rotors, performance pads, strut bars and perhaps even a full roll cage if you happen to be a track day regular!
